Grid Analysis provides an easy-to-maintain and highly scalable grid analysis and optimisation suite for system operators or other customers. By utilising classic and AI/ML algorithms, it assesses the grid state, performs load-flow, contingency and stability analysis and calculates optimal setpoints for grid assets based on an adaptable grid model. Calculations are performed in real time and predictively. We can either use algorithms as tools for simulation, analysis and for creating operator recommendations or integrate algorithms into closed-loop systems.
The modules orchestrated in grid analysis enable operators to steer the grid in the most efficient and safest way possible. Increasingly complex assets and grid topologies with constantly increasing infeed of renewables are hard to operate and monitor manually. Additionally, system stability analysis as well as voltage and reactive power management are crucial. This further increases the need for highly sophisticated and powerful analysis tools and automation.
