Alarming, Eventing, Logging
The Alarming, Eventing and Logging product provides services to create and manage alarms, events and logs for all the other products and modules within the MCCS environment.
Alarming enables other products and modules to send messages to the system or the operators on duty to inform them of events or incidents. Alarming provides functionalities that group and consolidate different kinds of alarms and as such ensures that the operators on duty can concentrate on more important aspects or the real root cause of an incident or event.
Third party products and modules from different vendors can also use Alarming, Eventing and Logging. All alarms or events can be searched for and we can apply sets of rules to condense the information in specific ways. The operators on duty can also personalise these themselves. They need the flexibility to adapt the alarm sets over time to the changing requirements in the context of the energy transition and grid expansion.
